Viewers even end the movie trilogy with Sam when he finally gets home, much like a war hero finally returning home. Because of his strong desire to do good by others, would he have been able to carry the Ring as the sole Ring Bearer? Though Frodo is the protagonist of the story, Sam is the hero of the story. Though he loves his home and those he left behind, Sam goes forward anyway. This shows how Sam can sense the importance of his role in the quest, and wonРІР‚в„ўt let anyone or anything stop him or send him home. Sam has a strong desire for the simple things in life, but he goes on the quest with Frodo-even though he could have turned back at Rivendale-not for any personal gain, but for the sake of others and out of the goodness of his heart. Sam played such a crucial role in the quest of The Lord of the Rings, that many ask what would happen if he was the Ring Bearer instead of Frodo Baggins. And without SamРІР‚в„ўs love and protection over Frodo, the quest to destroy the Ring might have ended in tragedy. Not to mention, his bravery outmatches the other Hobbits except for maybe Frodo (at times). It is hard to find anything to complain about when it comes to Sam-heРІР‚в„ўs a loyal friend, simple, pure of heart, and one with nature. Here Frodo stayed, until the end of his days, living happily with the elves, Gandalf, and the Valar.Of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, probably the most beloved character in the story that many claim as their favorite would be Samwise Gamgee. So Frodo went to the land of the Valar which is evergreen (heaven). (A bit like Simon, who helped Jesus carry his cross.) Once the Ring is destroyed, Frodo goes back to the Shire, which is just like Jesus spending time with His disciples after His Resurrection. He wanted to go alone into Mordor but Sam decided to come and aid his master. He puts all the burden onto himself, and shares it with no one. After this he begins his journey to Mordor to destroy the Ring.Р”Р‡rodo through out this journey, shows a Jesus figure in this Fellowship. Here Frodo fainted, but he came to himself again in Rivendell, because he had been saved from his wound by Elrond. Frodo took Glorfindel's horse and rode across the River, where Elrond released the River and it swallowed the Nazgul. Yet they hadn't lost hope yet, for an elf named Glorfindel came riding to them because he had been sent by Elrond of Rivendell to find the Ringbearer. Strider put Kingsfoil (a weed) on Frodo's shoulder wound to help slow the poison of the blade.

The Nazgul attacked and Frodo was stabbed in his shoulder,Р’В a fatal wound, because it was done by aР’В blade of Morgul.Р”Р„fter this they made all speed to Rivendell. But the Nazgul were pure evil, and so they have the power to see people hidden by the Ring. Here the Nazgul found Frodo, and Frodo put on the Ring to hide from them. The most unfortunate time was on Weathertop. The road was long and hard, and on the way they ran into Nazgul several times. In Bree they met Strider, a friend of Gandalf, who helped them make their way to Rivendell.

These four hobbits set out from the Shire to Rivendell. The only other hobbits he brought along for the trip were Samwise Gamgee (Sam), Merriadoc Brandybuck (Merry), andР’В Peregrin Took (Pippin).
